I found myself playing my recently released patch, "Dissolve," quite a lot -- using it to create little soundscapes and dissolving melodies. It is an easy patch to get lost in for a bit, a little self-contained world of evolving and subsiding sounds. I thought I would record a few of them.

This album consists of seven recording sessions I made with the patch. Aside from some EQing and normalizing, the album is entirely composed on and recorded from a single Empress Effects ZOIA, running "Dissolve."
